In 2026, Behlen Mfg. Co. officially launched its 90th anniversary celebrations with activities not only in its founding location, Columbus, Nebraska, but at its other facilities in Springfield, Ohio; McGregor, Texas; Baker City, Oregon; and Sarasota, Florida.
“We are excited to commemorate this occasion, and other recognitions of this event are occurring during the year,” said Brad Robeson, Chief Operating Officer. The celebration also included a “thank you” day in June for Behlen suppliers, an event first organized by TR “Tony” Raimondo in 1990.
“As we reflect on nearly a century of business, we are reminded of just how incredible this journey has been,” he said. “Behlen started as a family business in a garage in Columbus, Nebraska.”
Today, Behlen remains a family business and has evolved to become a global leader in steel fabrication, serving multiple diverse industries and markets around the world. This remarkable growth would have been impossible without one critical element: customers' belief and ongoing trust in Behlen.
