Job Title: Stock Tank Team Leader

Department: Stock Tanks

Location: McGregor, TX

1 Opening – 2nd Shift

This is an opportunity for a safety minded, self-motivated individual to step in and assume a Team Leader role when called upon.  In doing so, this position must learn the total Team Leader duties as well as support specific functions within a given department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive safety improvements, handle safety walks and work with team on any safety related opportunities.
  • Become member of Safety Committee
  • Assist with leadership responsibilities for quality, quantity and efficiency of work over stock tank line and assist team leader.
  • Communicate information between shifts on all applicable machines and if team leader is gone share the rest of the stock tank line communication with the other shifts.
  • Assists and educate other team members on the processes of the stock tank line area.
  • Assists with TPM/OPM (preventative maintenance) on the stock tank line.
  • Proficient with the maintenance equipment work orders screens
  • Work towards the goal of having partners actively engaged to build towards world class teamwork.
  • Assist in line productivity (monitoring/involvement)
  • Responsible for any other tasks as needed/ assigned by team leader
  • Lead overhead reduction processes (review of supplies and repairs)
  • Responsible to monitor area housekeeping and help with 5S initiatives.
  • Practice safe working habits and follow safety procedures, policy and job safety Analysis (JSA) , and assist in the training of others
  • Work towards continuous improvement of product quality and ISO

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be familiar with or willing to learn the product
  • Excellent team building skills
  • Have the ability to develop people through cross training
  • Must be able to obtain forklift certification
  • Able to operate ECCCO system and bar code system
  • Must be able to read blue prints and understand Work orders, bills, and routings
