The Behlen Industrial Products Group operates in two specific areas: 1.) a growing contract manufacturing service and 2.) the world's largest manufacturer of hydraulic presses used to join metal coil strips.

The fabrication of specialized metal and poly components for many other companies has become a significant part of the Behlen operation. Parts are shipped to meet a wide degree of requirements . . from roughed in . . . to fully finished. The ability to expand and grow in this area has given Behlen the opportunity to utilize its highly efficient manufacturing capacity.

Behlen has long been a worldwide leader in the design and construction of specialized hydraulic presses for joining metal coils in continuous process or production lines. These units can handle most gauges of steel, aluminum, copper, brass and silicon steel. The stitching process utilizes only the metal in the coil and thus eliminates contamination by other metals.
