PREPARATION EQUIPMENT
- Coil slitting line will slit 24 ga. to 10 ga.
material up to 60" wide coils at 20,000 lbs. capacity.
- Six (6) shears with a capacity of up to
5/8" thick plate and 20'-0" length
- Four (4) torch head CNC flame cutters with photo
eye tracing for 12" thick plate, 8' wide x 23' long.
- "Fine" plasma cutting system that
allows for precision cutting of material from 16 ga. through 5/8" thick
- 5' x 10' bed with nesting capabilities.
- Plasma cutting system for material from
1/8" to 3/4" and high-definition plasma cutting from 16 ga. to
3/8" on two 96" x 240" tables with nesting capabilities. A
drilling attachment for drilling small holes and a scribe for marking
operations.
- Cutoff presses capable of cutting 1"
diameter rounds, 3/8" x 3" x 3" angle or 3/4" x 12"
flats.
- One (1) CNC right angle shear cuts up to
3/16" thick mild steel up to 72" x 144" sheet size.
- Angle Processing - CNC Controlled ±1/32"
true position (1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/16" Min.) (6" x
6" x 1/2"+ Max.) Standard 40' raw product. Angles & flats.
Multiple hole sizes per leg.
MATERIAL HANDLING
- Four (4) portable cranes from 5 to 7-1/2 ton
capacities.

PUNCHING EQUIPMENT
- One (1) 36 station 45 ton, 60" x 72"
table CNC turret press with plasma arc cutting for up to 3/8" plate
60" x 144".
- One (1) 32 station 30 ton, 48" x 72"
table repositionable up to 16' CNC turret press with punching up to
1/4".
- Twenty (20) punch presses from 15 to 220 ton
capacity with bed sizes up to 38" x 84".
FORMING EQUIPMENT
- Fourteen (14) press brakes from 4' to
34'-0" and from 17 to 1,000 ton capacities. (Many equipped with CNC ram
& back gauge).
- Three (3) three roll rollers with the largest
capable of rolling 1/4" x 10'-0" wide sheets.
- Structural roller capable of rolling rings up to
3" x 3" x 3/8" angle iron.
- Corrugation roller forms 3/8" deep
corrugations in 4'-0" sheets up to 14 ga. material.
- Rigidizer for forming 1/8" deep
corrugations in 4'-0'' sheets of 16 ga. material.
- One (1) rotary head bending machine (5 hp)
tooled for 2" schedule 40 pipe. Also capable of bending reinforcing
bars, channels, I-beams and angles.
MACHINING EQUIPMENT
- Eight (8) milling machines. A Pratt &
Whitney model 4E jig bore machine.
- One (1) planer capacity up to 60" width x
60" height x 18'-0" long. 50 h.p. heads - 2 vertical, 2
horizontal, 345 rpm variable speeds.
- Eleven (11) grinders for centerless, cylindrical
and surface grinding.
- Surface grinding capacities up to 30" part
depth on a 36" x 72" table.
- Two (2) hobbing machines for cutting gears up to
16" between centers and 14" outside diameter.
- Twenty-four (24) drill presses.
- 5'-0" arm 17" column radial.
- Two (2) spindle - Eight (8) spindle multiples up to 1" depth.

- Broach, shaper and keyway cutters.

WELDING
- Robotic Welder & Rotating Table - welds 78
inches/minute for 72" maximum length. 260° Base rotation using 7 axes.
Pattern programmable and automatic seam tracking. Weld types GMAW, FCAW, MIG,
TIG & Pulse. Rotating Head and Tail Stock.
- Seventy-five (75) microwire mig welders with
ranges of 0.030" - 3/32" welding wire and 250 to 600 amp power
supplies.
- Twelve (12) smaw "stick" welders for
1/16" to 1/4" diameter mild steel and alloy welding.
- Seven (7) rocker arm spot welders with 14"
to 49" throat capacities and 23 to 200KVA power supplies.
- Twin head submerged arc straight and tapered
beam welder with flange capacities from 3/16" x 4" to 1" x
12", web capacities from 1/8" x 4" to 1/2" x 60"
and lengths to 40'-0".
- Semi-automatic seam welder with capacities of 16
ga. to 1" thick steels of various types with infinite welding speeds up
to 42" per minute. Voltage, amperage, and flow control of various
welding gases are all infinitely adjustable with continuous welding power of
400 amps+ for continuous welds up to 26'-6'' in length. Can be adapted to
practically any shaped member that requires seam welding.
SPECIALITY
PRODUCT AREAS
- Structural forming line - Automatic roll-forming
system with N.C. controls including uncoiler, leveler, punch and cutoff
press, roll former and runout table. Forms both "Z" and
"C" shaped channels, 8" & 10" deep. Gauge capacity
is 12 to 16, black or precoated material. Line speed 60' to 250' per minute.
Punch patterns and length options are unlimited.
- Building panel line - Fully automatic system,
including stacking and cut to length for forming light gauge (20 to 29)
pre-painted wall and roof panels. Tooling is available for low rib which is
36" x 1-1/2" deep style. Line operates at a speed of 50' per
minute up to a maximum of 200' per minute.
- Schlatter wire mesh welder - 10 gauge to 0 gauge
wire flat sheets or rolls, maximum width 8'-0". Variable line and cross
wire spacing. Up to 100 welds per minute. Wire drawing and other support
equipment.
FINISHING LINES
- Wheelabrator tumble blaster with a 14 cu. ft.
tumbler for batch part cleaning.
- Paint finishing line with 6 stage washer. One
station has a chromic acid bath for taking the passavation off galvanized
material in addition to adding corrosion resistant, paint bonding, chromate
coating. A 60' long dry-off oven and a 110' long curing oven with
temperatures up to 550°F.
- Four (4) water wash spray booths and an off-line spray booth for painting
large items.
- Five (5) air assisted airless paint guns with heaters.
- Eight (8) Ransburg Aerobell 33 electrostatic rotary atomizers for painting
flat, tubular and odd sized parts. Uses a wide variety of paints including
tough, durable hi-solids and environmentally friendly coatings producing the
highest transfer efficiencies of any paint-spray equipment.
- Paint line continuous track with 500 lb. load carrying capacity per load
bar and 3 line speeds - up to 20' per minute. Part size capacities up to 4'
wide x 6' high x 35' long.
- Two (2) REM automatic reciprocator spray guns for painting flat panels.
- Eleven (11) silicon-polyester colors available.
- Galvanizing line 210' long with acid tank, rinse
booth, preflux tank, zinc tank, and second rinse booth. Line serviced by two
(2) 4000 lb. cranes. Zinc kettle capacity of 42" wide x 22'-0” long x
8'-0" depth.

CAPABILITIES
ROTATIONAL MOLDING (Columbus, Nebraska)
- One (1) Ferry Roto Speed Independent Arm machine
(Model 330) with a 131" swing can produce 100 parts/week. Sizes of
parts can range from 1 lb. to 300 lbs. and up to 12' in diameter.
Capabilities include insert molding, flame treating, trimming, mold-in
graphics, packaging, and specialized techniques.

CAPABILITIES
ROTATIONAL MOLDING (New Paris, Indiana)
- Four (4) Ferry rotospeed independent arm molding
machines. One (1) with 115", two (2) with 131" and one (1) with
160" spherical swing operating 24 hours/day, producing about 100 parts
per week (based on a 5 day work week) per mold. Independently computer
controlled.
- Size of parts range from 1 lb. to 300 lbs. and
from very small to 12' in diameter.
- Material is primarily durable polyethylene with
capabilities to blend and match colors.
- Additional capabilities include insert molding;
urethane foam filling; flame treating; mold-in graphics; trim, asembly and
packaging as well as specialized techniques.
- Trim capabilities - One (1) Motion Master Twin
Table 5 x 5 CNC controlled router geared to accuracy and volume production.
